Tippers dumped a pile of gardening cuttings on a rural lane – and police want to know where they came from.
The mess included several downed trees and other cuttings, which were left on Mill Lane, near Shenton, near Hinckley.
Market Bosworth Police, who went to inspect the rubbish this morning (January 19), want to hear from anyone who has recently done similar work.

The beat team posted photos of the mess on Facebook, saying: “Start early this morning after a call for a Mill Lane fly tip in Shenton.
“The road is passable with care. The council and the highways are aware and will be present to remove it.”
Officers have asked residents for help in tracking down the culprits. They said, “Has anyone done any yard work lately?
“We would love to speak to those responsible for the dumping of the waste.”
Last weekend the team at Market Bosworth Beat posted a theft notice on Foxcovert Lane near Stoke Golding.
A large pile of rubbish contained in nets, including several tires, was dumped in the middle of the road, LeicestershireLive reported.
Officers urged people to avoid the area while the mess was cleaned up.
