Hello and Welcome to the MGM Garden Society webpage!

Ours is a 501c3 non profit group dedicated to the care of the U of A, Robert J. Moody, Demonstration Garden. This year we are facing an EMERGENCY situation. Our 13 year old irrigation has gotten crispy in the desert heat. We desperately need a new system but the $15,000.00 price tag is beyond our reach.

If you could possibly donate to our garden, we will be eternally grateful!

Thank you

Dalene Kelly, Treasurer

 Self Watering Plant Buckets

The self watering containers were made for a fund raiser and educational seminars.

The self watering containers are made from recycled 5 gallon pails, a pond basket and a piece of PVC. They are movable, are easy to water by drip or hose without bending over, an overflow drain hole makes overwatering difficult. They hold enough soil to grow most vegetable, herb and flower annuals. The kit and/or demonstration is available to any organization or club or classroom by request through any MGM member or the Yuma County Cooperative Extension at 726-3904.

$15.00 plain, $20.00 painted by a local artist

"Worm Castings"

Natures best organic fertilizer, a tablespoon can fertilize a 6" pot for up to 3 months! Our on-site Vermiculture box produces an ongoing supply of this wonderful fertilizer. Available, Tuesday mornings, at the garden or Yuma County Extension Office for just $1.00 / pound bag.
